Fear is an inevitable part of being human. When we try to run away from our fears they only become bigger and more powerful. Join us as we take the opportunity to invite our fears in for afternoon tea, or, if that feels too much, at least for a heart-to-heart chat. It is only when we learn to walk with our fears that we free ourselves from their tyranny and open pathways to a richer, fuller and more meaningful life. The talk and meditation will be led by Rabbi Ruth Mayer, Psy. D.. Ruth has taught mediation for many years and works with people to develop emotional tools for navigating the challenging journeys in their lives.
Jacqueline Carmody, LCPC, ATR-BC will wrap up the evening with a 30 minute art exploration and reflection on what images, symbols, and creativity arises.
